Terms & conditions
The terms that apply to our driving courses, RTO consultancy services and this website.
Last updated: [DATE]
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you enrol in a course, engage us for RTO consultancy work, or use this website. By booking a service with Jalaram Driving School & Consultancy you agree to them.
2. Enrolment and eligibility
- You must meet the minimum legal age for the licence class you're training for.
- You must hold a valid learning licence before driving on public roads during training.
- You must tell us about any medical condition that could affect your ability to drive safely.
- Documents you provide must be genuine and belong to you. We will not proceed with an application based on documents we believe to be false.
3. Course fees and payment
- Course fees are quoted before you enrol and cover the training vehicle, fuel and instructor time for the sessions in your package.
- Government fees charged by the Regional Transport Office are separate and are passed on to you at actual cost.
- Sessions beyond your package are charged at our per-session rate, which we will tell you before you use them.
- Fees may be revised from time to time. A revision does not affect a course you have already paid for.
4. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
[Complete this section with your actual policy. As a starting point, it should cover:]
- How much notice you need to reschedule a session
- What happens if a student misses a session without notice
- Whether unused sessions are refundable, and on what basis
- How long a course package remains valid from the enrolment date
- What happens if we have to cancel a session (weather, vehicle unavailability, instructor illness)
5. During training
- You must follow your instructor's directions at all times while in or on a training vehicle.
- You must not drive under the influence of alcohol or any substance that impairs driving. We will end the session immediately and no refund will apply.
- Helmets are compulsory for all two-wheeler training, including in practice areas.
- We may decline to continue training where we believe it would be unsafe to do so.
6. RTO consultancy services
- We prepare, submit and follow up applications on your behalf. We do not control the outcome or the timeline — the decision rests with the Regional Transport Office.
- Timelines we give you are estimates based on experience, not guarantees.
- Our service charge covers our work in handling the application. It is payable whether or not the authority approves the application, unless the rejection was caused by our error.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents you give us.
- We cannot and will not attempt to influence the outcome of any government test or decision by improper means.
7. Insurance and financial services
Where we assist with insurance or investment products, we act as a distributor or intermediary. Product terms are set by the insurer or asset management company, not by us. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Please read all scheme related documents carefully before investing. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Nothing on this website is investment advice.
8. Liability
Our training vehicles are insured. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any service is limited to the fees you have paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings arising from a delayed or unsuccessful application.
9. Website content
Information on this website — including anything about licences, documents, fees, eligibility and timelines — is provided for general guidance. Motor vehicle rules and government fees change from time to time. Always confirm current requirements with us or at parivahan.gov.in before acting on anything you read here.
10. Photographs
We sometimes photograph classes and successful students for our website and social media. We will ask for your consent first, and you are free to decline without it affecting your course in any way.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
