What each service involves
Send a photo of what you already hold and we'll confirm the document list, the cost and a realistic timeline before you commit.
International driving licence (IDP)
An International Driving Permit lets you drive in many countries alongside your Indian licence. It's issued for a limited period and is normally applied for from the RTO where your licence is registered.
- Valid Indian driving licence required
- Passport and valid visa
- Air ticket or travel proof
- Medical certificate and photographs
Apply well before you travel — this is not something to leave until the week of the flight. Requirements vary by destination country, so tell us where you're going.
Driving licence renewal
A private driving licence is generally valid for 20 years or until you turn 50, whichever comes first, and is renewed for shorter periods after that.
- Renewal before or shortly after expiry
- Medical certificate where age requires it
- Long-expired licences — we'll tell you what's involved
Act sooner rather than later. A licence left expired for a long stretch becomes a considerably bigger job.
Duplicate driving licence
For a licence that's lost, stolen, damaged or simply illegible.
- Loss report where required
- Identity and address proof
- Old licence number or a photo of it, if you have one
Even a phone photo of the old licence speeds this up considerably. Worth taking one of everything in your wallet.
Vehicle name transfer
Transferring ownership of a vehicle on the RC — whether you're buying or selling. This is the one people most often put off, and it matters: until it's done, the vehicle is legally still the seller's problem.
- Buyer and seller documentation
- Original RC and valid insurance
- PUC certificate
- NOC where the vehicle is from another state
Sold a vehicle and never transferred it? Fines and liability can still come back to you. Get it done.
HPA add or remove
Hypothecation is the loan entry recorded on your RC. It's added when you finance a vehicle and must be removed once you've cleared the loan.
- HP addition when a loan is taken
- HP termination after full repayment
- Bank NOC follow-up
- Fresh RC issued without the HP entry
Very common problem: loan cleared years ago, HP still showing on the RC, and now the vehicle can't be sold. We deal with this constantly.
Vehicle registration
New vehicle registration and RC issue, plus re-registration for vehicles brought in from another state.
- New vehicle registration and RC
- Re-registration of out-of-state vehicles
- Duplicate RC
- RC particulars correction
Vehicle fitness certificate
Commercial and transport vehicles need a valid fitness certificate, renewed periodically after inspection.
- Fresh fitness certificate
- Fitness renewal
- Inspection appointment booking
- Preparing the vehicle documents beforehand
The vehicle itself must be presented for inspection — that part we can't do for you.
Vehicle permit
Commercial vehicles need a permit appropriate to how they're used. We handle applications, renewals and transfers.
- Goods carriage permits
- Contract carriage permits
- State permits
- Permit renewal and transfer
All India permit
For commercial vehicles that operate across state borders rather than within Gujarat alone. Involves the permit itself plus the associated authorisation and tax formalities.
- All India Tourist Permit (AITP)
- National permit for goods vehicles
- Authorisation and renewal
- Associated tax formalities
Requirements depend on the vehicle category and seating or load capacity. Call us with the RC details and we'll tell you exactly what applies.
NOC & address change
A No Objection Certificate is needed when a vehicle moves to another RTO or another state. Address changes apply to both licence and RC.
- NOC for inter-state vehicle movement
- Address change on driving licence
- Address change on RC
- Pending dues and challan clearance check

"Couldn't I just do this myself online?"
Often, yes — and for something straightforward like a duplicate licence with all your documents in order, you probably should. The Parivahan portal handles simple cases reasonably well now.
Where people come to us is when it isn't simple: a name that doesn't match across documents, an address that changed twice, a hypothecation the bank never removed, a vehicle bought from someone who's since moved out of Gujarat, or an application that's already been rejected once and nobody explained why.
That's the work we're actually good at. If your case is simple, we'll tell you it's simple.
When it's worth paying someone
- Your application has already been rejected once
- Names or dates don't match across your documents
- The vehicle was bought second-hand and paperwork is incomplete
- A loan was cleared but the HP entry is still on the RC
- You genuinely cannot take a working day off to queue
How our charges work
Every RTO service has two parts: the government fee, set by the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, and our service charge for preparing, filing and following up your application.
We pass the government fee on at exactly what it costs, with the receipt. Our service charge depends on the type of work and is quoted before we start — never after.
Government fees are revised from time to time. You can verify current rates at parivahan.gov.in, and we'll confirm the figure for your case when you call.
